Medical sources said the pilot would be aware, the fire brigade intervened to remove the passenger from the wreckage after sedated. Kubica was flown by helicopter to the hospital Santa Corona in Pietra Ligure. Would not life threatening but would have reported a serious trauma and numerous fractures to the femur and the leg which would be particularly affected.
